New Lilly and Moby!

A pleasant lady and singer from the other London, the bigger one across the pond, is Lilly Allen. Her popularity was mainly result of a grass-roots effort and road to stardom, propelled by posting demos on her myspace page, and eventually ending up being one of the top artist in 2007 in jolly old England. What makes her so great is her charm and witty lyrics that she enfuses in her song writing. She could say the most vulgar thing but it would sound like a fresh-baked cinnamon roll, if ever there was such a sound. This lastest track that you should sample is a clear example of funny witty lyrics.

Moby, the skinny vegitarian, is in my mind, one of the greatest producers of all time. His two albums, Play and 18 have some of the most beautiful and soul-injected music that I've ever heard, obviously some other people must agree because his music is so ubiquitus in commercials and movies such as Go and The Beach. Not only can Moby make some serious great soulful music like such tunes as "Lord you don't be leaving me" he can make some seriously good electronic dance music. This latest example is remixed by another favorite of my Eddie Thorneik.

This video is completely unrelated, but ever soooooo funny.
